Here is the project walkthru of the upcoming SLF construction project of LGU Nabunturan, the provincial capital of Davao de Oro Province. It is a 1st Class Municipality, nicknamed the "Heart of the Valley" because it is located in a wide valley "surrounded by mountains." This project complies with the Ecological Solidwaste Management Act of 2000 or the RA 9003, which mandates all LGUs to stop open/controlled dumps since 2006 and orders the establishment of engineered disposal facilities such as Sanitary Landfill Facility (SLF).
